NATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE CONSULTANCY (NIC) LTD
NIC Ltd was formed in 2021 by a dynamic and dedicated team of Civil Engineers with a combined expertise of over 70 years in water, wastewater and utility infrastructure consultancy. It is the aspiration of NIC to be the first-choice infrastructure consultant for clients across England and Wales.

NIC is proud to have established its reputation through the company’s most valuable asset – the very people who have created NIC and worked extremely hard to build the consultancy team.
NIC is a business that motivates, excites, inspires and cares for it’s staff. We recognise that a motivated, confident and happy team is key to the success of our organisation, and therefore key to the satisfaction of our clients.
At NIC we are proud to employ Civil Engineers and Technicians registered with the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE). We believe in investing in staff training and their ongoing development. We provide ICE accredited structured training to enable staff to gain Chartered, Incorporated or EngTech membership.

CHARITABLE DONATIONS
The team at NIC Ltd is passionate about helping others who may not be so
able to help themselves.
Every year NIC Ltd donates to charitable organisations. Staff are asked
to nominate their chosen charity and then the company raises donations for the
nominated charity by either direct donation or participation in events.
First Step
NIC Ltd is delighted to confirm that we have donated £225 to First Step during 2022/23. Karen Maclennan taught Paul Ryan’s son at the Thriftwood School and helped him come on in leaps and bounds. Karen has bravely volunteered to run the full 26.2 miles of the London Marathon to raise funds for First Step and has raised an awesome £2,200 to April 2023, exceeding her £1,800 target by 22%.
First Step provides much-needed support to families of babies and young children with special needs and/or disabilities. They currently work with over 100 pre-school children, and their families, offering education services, support, information and encouragement.

Families in Focus (Essex)
NIC Ltd is delighted to announce that we raised an amazing £500 for Families in Focus (Essex) during 2022/2023. Jonathan Tween successfully ran a London half-marathon in aid of Families in Focus on Sunday 5th March 2023. Jonathan is the nephew of one of the founders of Families in Focus and NIC Ltd co-sponsored Jonathan’s fantastic gesture.
Families in Focus is an independent charity, working with families who have a child (or children), or a young person, with any special educational need or disability (SEND).
They provide advice and support to families with SEND children on how to access appropriate education, how to apply for an Education Health Care Plan and appeals to the SEND tribunal, as well as providing support with disability benefits and social care issues.
